After two months of hard work, July sees the mobilisation of our new contracts for Severn Trent Water (STW).
On the first week in July, we have launched our Lot 4, Lot 5 and Lot 6 New Connections contracts, covering dig, reinstatement and traffic management services across the network. The
contract has already increased in scope, with Gallagher providing more resource than originally anticipated to support the client’s direct labour.
We mobilised 35 teams and vehicles and 6 new staff to get the contract up and running, and will beusing depots in Derby, Burslem and Sugarbrook.
Following this, on the 14th July, we complete the TUPE transfer of over 100 current metering contract staff into the business. This is a major mobilisation, again covering both the client’s whole network. It’s an exciting time for the Midlands team as we begin our relationship with STW on these two workstreams. We look forward to working alongside STW’s teams to deliver continuity of service on day one, before driving improvement over the durations of the contracts.
